Hey, tin can I borrow your hot tub/DeLorean time machine for an hour? Pretty please?

I need to go back to 2022 or, really, any time before MAC revamped their castor line and changed then many of their classic brushes. Like this one: the 224.

If you say "yeah," I'll babysit your true cat or bake y'all brownies. What do ya say? Bargain? 🙂

MAC 224S Constructed Tapered Blending Brush ($34)

I wish I could stock up those erstwhile 224s considering — Hi, CRANKY PANTS — this new version is scratchy and stiff, several of the bristles take fallen out, and the ferrule is already loose.

Such a bummer, also, considering the old-school 224s are beasts. I take two that are more than five years sometime and still going strong, merely they'll have to be replaced sooner or later on.

If MAC doesn't bring back the O.G. non-synthetic version, or otherwise set this ane, my program is to somewhen jump for either another NARS #42, which is $32 and Flop, or the Chanel blending brush, which is $36.

Oh, well.
